Geomantic Command Center
The Geomantic Command Center is an abstract concept (the only things that actually exists) that originated from an interdimensional transmission from The Crystal broadcasted on all frequencies in 2017.
First Casting
The Geomantic Command Center, or "Command Center" for short, was a collection of several projects created in one of the earliest known Flagnostic trances, which lasted for a period of several months. The transmission from The Crystal initially was picked up by the First Vexillomancer's enormous Moebius hat, leading to the creation of the Survey Flags video game. In this real time strategy game, you play the role of a disembodied collective intelligence, placing and moving the Flags at a burn around to form strategic shapes. Drawn between each flag is a virtual ley line denoting one edge of a higher-dimensional virtual ley facet that is invisible to the player due to the restrictions of 2 dimensions. The goal of the game is to align the virtual ley lines along the actual ley lines (which are invisible on our plane) in order to capture invisible moving crystal focus points. A proper configuration, which tends to resemble an assemblage of overlapping and distorted pentagrams, will capture one or more crystal focus points and being manifesting a crystal.
A crystal is also known as an "infinite-order implied Flag". You see, at the midpoint between every two Flags is an implied Flag. At the midpoint between every two implied Flag is a second-order implied Flag. And so forth. Thus we call the geometric structure formed by the set of all Flags and higher-order Flags the implied Flag fractal.
The more your implied Flag fractal resonates with the complex of 5th-dimensional Ley facets that the burn is passing through, the larger and more numerous the crystals become, and so the burn has a higher crystal manifestation index (CMI). Thus, the goal of a burn is to get the crystal manifestation index as high as possible.
Second Casting
The signal from The Crystal refracted off of the Moebius hat and fried half the cores in the brain of Dr. Beef Supreme, who was not wearing any protective gear. The Flagnostic trance which followed was incredibly dangerous.
Several Vexillomantic relics were produced:
- The vexillosaint's robe, cut of an exotic condensed Flag matter.
- Liber HH, the first Vexillomantic holy text, where of course HH == 96, equal to the number of Flags cast at Alchemy (2017), and equal to the rank of the quantum cohomology ring of a particular quantum Flag variety.
A completed Seal of Flagistan, heroically artificed by Red Chocolate. - The Seals of Flagistan, a collection of swag earned through completing tasks to create Flagistan which could be united to form a complete Seal, a feat only ever accomplished by a single Signifier.
- And of course, the Geomantic Commander Center itself.
