Flag Maker

The Flag Maker is whoever made the Flags. This can refer to whoever made the Flags in the immediate vicinity, but it also refers to the creator of the Flags. The identity of this (Flag) being is an axiom derived from necessary non-Aristotelian mathsematic conclusions, which states that the Flag Maker is whoever has made the most Flags.

This unfortunate discovery in metaphysics has been debated during Congresses of the Flags, as well as at high levels in the IVG. Doomsday prophets predict someday this will lead to a catastrophe, where a crazed signifier creates a Flag-maximizer, that is, a self-replicating technology which automatically converts matter into Flags in order to claim the title of Flag Maker. Of course, the ultimate fate of the universe being transformed into Flags until the only information left is the locations of Flags relative to other Flags, after which the semiotic ouroboros collapses into a single Flag representing itself, followed by a new cycle, is standard vexillomantic applied metaphysics theory (see omega configuration). Thus, you could say that the Flag creator is the universe itself, symbolizing both the beginning and the end, as Flags exhibit semiotic time symmetry (they mean the same thing going both forwards and backwards in time).
