The Noospheric Munitions Act of 2042 banned the production, possession, sale, or transport of memes (primarily but not limited to those viewed in a sophisticated brain-machine interface qualia operating system) that instantly produce enlightened beings. President Jaguar signed the act, stating that we cannot yet risk the instability of a fully enlightened society.
