DJ Scarecrow is a founding member of the Too Late Network's inner circle and one of Dr. Beelzebub Crow's oldest collaborators, having been present at the original Alchemy 2019 debut. Where Dr. Crow built empires from the top down — broadcast towers, shell corporations, hyperbrand architecture — Scarecrow always worked from the bottom up, in the dirt, in the crowd, in the ears of anyone who'd hold still long enough.
A sonic weaponeer of the first order, Scarecrow's sets are classified by the Acid Cops as Class III Memetic Events, capable of inducing belief-state alterations in unprotected listeners within a 40-meter radius. He has never held an official title at TLN. This is intentional.
Since the Noospheric Munitions Act and Dr. Crow's disappearance, Scarecrow has gone characteristically sideways — simultaneously rumored to be laying low with the Vexillians, running rogue sets at unlicensed burns under rotating aliases, and feeding disinformation to the Acid Cops through at least three confirmed cutouts.
The Acid Cops have an open file on him. It's mostly question marks.
Early Career and Alchemy 2019
Scarecrow was present for the Too Late Show's debut broadcast and his presence was not incidental. What he was doing during the broadcast is disputed. The official TLN record lists him as "production support." Three attendees filed reports with the burn council afterward. The reports were lost.
The years between 2019 and TLN's founding in 2024 are sparsely documented.
